Give Medicare patients a simple way to provide feedback on health care quality.
- Establish indicators of patient care quality that can be measured by patient or caregiver.
- Track quality of service using a simple 5 point grade scale.
- Allow multiple pathways for patient to send feedback to improve response rates.
The second page of the Medicare Summary Notice contains a section called, 'Appeals Information – Part B'. This section gives patients the ability to challenge Medicare provider fees or alert Medicare about possible abuse and or fraud.
